"One of the things one must do in the Cotswolds is to go on its famous walkway. This public footpath goes through numerous privately owned farms, with gates ensuring that the livestock from one does not flee to another one. You just open the gate walk through and close it behind you.
This walk to B..."roadway Tower turned out to be vey pleasant. It was a sunny day and we passed through green fields one after another. There were numerous sheep of all ages who looked on curiously at us. The one hour hike takes you up about 1000 feet above the town of Broadway offering beautiful views.
We did not feel like spending money to go up the tower. However that did not diminish the value of this attraction.

"Our visit to The Tower was compromised by the weather & our lack of suitable clothing. It was -1C with a wind at about 40kph. Once we got into the tower the views & information were rewarding. Getting back to the car was a cooling experience. Thermals were purchased the next day.
