The Crumlin Road Gaol dates back to 1845 and closed it's doors as a working prison in 1996. After extensive renovations the gaol has re opened as a visitor attraction and conference centre. Today you can take a guided tour of the prison and hear about the history of the site from when women and children were held within it's walls through to the political segregation of republican and loyalist prisoners and learn about why the decision was taken to close the prison.During the tour of the gaol you will be taken by your tour guide to visit the underground tunnel that used to connect the gaol to the Crumlin Road Courthouse, you will get a chance to sit in the Governor's chair, view all the wings from the circle and of course pay a visit to the condemned mans cell before seeing the execution cell where the majority of the 17 men were hanged.

Experience the engineering behind the legendary pump-house, which still houses the original pumping engines, situated deep in the pump-well. The Pump-House also includes a visitor center and cafe, where you can relax and enjoy hot and cold snacks, refreshments, free wi-fi, or even pick up a souvenir or two from our Titanic gift shop. We offer daily guided tours of Belfast Harbour where the RMS Titanic was designed, built and launched! Our vessels - MV Mona is a 70 seater boat with 2 open decks and an enclosed saloon area. MV Joyce Too is a 35 seater boat that can enclosed or semi open depending on the weather. Both these boats are available for public sailings aswell as private hire for guided tours or social events such as parties and other such occasions. MV Meda is a traditional, open motor launch that can seat 12 passengers and is available as a river taxi or for guided tours for small groups.
