"Wow! I'd been told that Port Grimaud was like a Little Venice, but nothing prepared me for this man made (reclaimed land from the sea) beautiful miracle! It's an architects dream with varying types of houses & apartments with connecting canals & bridges & each property has its own mooring! There are..." some amazing yachts to see + you can hire a boat to wander through the canals & take in all the beauty of the differently coloured buildings. There are shops, cafés & restaurants to explore & the cleanest loo in France in La Place d'Eglise! (Very important to know these things!)

"Going at nite sure makes it more inmpressive.....
take some time to wonder around the small streets, every corner hides a secret spot,
The crazy restaurant Le Ecuries de la Marquiese is a place not to miss!!! better do some booking though,...."
"While going to St Tropez don't miss out and stop to see this little jewel. You would have to leave the car outside which makes this place even more interesting, walk along the water and enjoy the view of the harbor. There are several small restaurants inside the perimeter i would suggest La mareè,..." the ones right on the main square, i have to say they really look bad with all their bright colors and neon lights, sometimes is quite amazing how the owners just don't see it, they got to charm and scare the "good" clients away,.,,,,,,
The canals are quite nice but beeing there in april may is not the same as june july august, where you might just be part of the stampede of turists !!!
So try to stop by off season and you rent a small unit there can be quite cheap. check out the homes, there isn't one like anothere...... really interesting.
From there i would advise to drive a little around the internal part of the countryside and maybe drive through Ramatuelle to Cap Camar...
