They responded quickly to my online request and were able to confirm a tour for the next day for our group of 4. We did a 6 hour tour of Mt. Etna and the surrounding area. Our guide, Renato, pic..."ked us up at our hotel near Catania and drove us up Mt. Etna explaining the history along the way. We stopped at 2000 meters where the cable car was and opted to hike up one of the main craters and then partway up Etna, about 1 1/2 hours roundtrip. Renato was very knowledgeable, kind, and flexible, asking what we'd like to see and making sure we were comfortable. After the hike we checked out a neat lava tube and then went to the nearby village of Zatterana to sample local olives, olive oils, wine, honey and almond treats....all delicious!
