"We visited the theatre right when it opened on a Monday, definitely recommend to arrive early. We were the first ones in and had it to ourselves for a good 30 minutes and that is when you will get the best pictures. When we were leaving, the cruise crowd was trickling in. The theatre is not wheelcha..."ir accessible. On a side note, if you are on a cruise, Taormina is easy to navigate on your own. I would not book a ship excursion but instead hire a hire to take you to Taormina or share a taxi.

"We visited the gardens after visiting the Greek Theatre. Nice place to relax in the shade to plan out your next move. Not very crowded and a great picnic spot. "
"Took a little walk here. Definitely wear flip flops, the stones are nasty. But the view is divine. Water is crashing against the little mountain. How in the world did someone build a museum into this stone???"
