"We have visited in the past with our grandchildren who loved it but to-day was a visit with friends. We arrived at 12.30 and were warmly greeted in the cafe. We all chose from the main menu although specials were offered, check out the all day breakfast fantastic value. The tea was delivered very pr..."omptly and our food which was cooked to order soon arrived. The home made chips were excellent as was the quiche ,steakburger and pork burger. The quality of food is high and the costs very reasonable. We were not rushed from our table when we finished eating and allowed to sit and chat until we were ready to leave. If you are not happy to have children around you do not sit in the conservatory but choose the main cafe room. We visited the farm shop and bakery on leaving where the range of home made cakes and bread makes choosing difficult.

"I have a cheap annual pass so thought I would give this a go recently. I really liked one of the fishing boat paintings on the ground floor, it looked almost 3d no matter where you stood in the room. The temporary exhibit upstairs was a rock an roll picture set. Not really my thing, but it was done ..."well.
