Scarborough's Open Air Theatre is the largest in Europe, with the original being built by Scarborough Corporation in the 1930s. Since the open air theatre was re-launched in 2010 by Her Majesty the Queen, after a £3.5 million pound refurbishment, our giant stage on the lake has seen artists as diverse as Dame Kiri Ti-Kanawa and Elton John to N-Dubz and JLS.Acts confirmed for 2013 include the legendary 'Status Quo', British songstress 'Leona Lewis', boy band 'The Wanted', pop-rock band 'McFly', critically acclaimed alternative rock band 'Happy Mondays', world-renowned classical superstar Katherine Jenkins & The National Symphony Orchestra, popular girl group 'The Saturdays' and pop-sensation 'Olly Murs' will be returning to our venue for the second year running!For all the latest information regarding this fantastic venue, please visit our website, like us on Facebook (OpenAirTheatre) and follow us on Twitter (Scarborough_OAT).
