"A short walk from town, visiting the majestic ruined Castelo de Leiria was one of my favourite experiences in Portugal. Partly because it was so quiet when we visited, and a photographers dream. It was great fun for me visiting, as I think anywhere else you wouldn’t be allowed to wander about in the..." ruins to the extent that you can here, and being able to get up close and have a look at the carvings etc. was great fun! There is a small museum up the main tower which holds some interesting replicas of weaponry, and small finds discovered around the Castelo. There is also a great view from on top of the tower! This trip is very much worth the few euros you pay.

Lets just say finding Andre's number was what made our holiday. We wanted to travel to loads of places when we were there. He lifted us daily from Alfeizerao and took us to São Martinho. The prices were so...
