Ayia Napa Attractions: Places to Visit in Ayia Napa
"The Monastery of Ayia Napa goes back to 15th century, when Cyprus was under the Venetians, thanks Dod wasn't destroyed by Ottomans. Ayia Napa means , cause the picture of Virgin Mary was found in the wood.
Only half hour is enought to see the place with the small park around..." and the very big old tree in the entrance.Next to the Monastery, a new church of Ayia Napa is builded and in the yard at summer, there are several performances and ofcourse the festival of the village.
The Monastery is at the heart of Ayia Napa and around you can find many shops, restaurants, cafe-bars,hotels, the Luna -park and the small nice wharf with the fish-restaurants.

"Loved our day here. Lots of sun loungers all around the park. We went in May so hardly any wait to get on the rides.
Last year I went to Siam Park in Tenerife last year and this wasn't as good"
