The course if flat despite its name. The greens are somewhat contured and therefore interesting. Water comes into play on only three holes. The course excels in the condition...

"At first view, you might think Fitzsimmons is an outdated course that will eventually be retired. However, it deserves ink for a great bargain. Most of the course is doglegs and the fairways are narrower to average over a normal course and the greens are a tad bit smaller. Its excellent for w..."alkers and offers great play if you like short shots or for those of you that like to let it fly, there are 5 excellent par 5's that require 3 solid shots.
The Greens are well maintained and the staff does a good job of accommodating your needs. The club also offers some popular history having the "Ike" tree on the middle of the 6th Hole that Eisenhower made famous. It was designed by the army corps of engineers in 1938. Its not a country club course, but its a little tucked away Municipal course that will challenge good golfers.
I have played this course over 30 times and want to make sure its many enjoyable parts are appreciated for those players that are learning to play go...

It’s also probably the top dance club in a 500 or 600-mile radius. It clearly outshines the two other great Colorado country-nightclubs, the ..."Sundance in Fort Collins and Cowboys in Colorado Springs.
Unlike the typical meat-market approach of many nightclubs which try to force huge crowds into relatively small areas in some cases with postage-stamp sized dance floors: the Stampede is huge and pretty user-friendly. The spacious upstairs dining area goes largely unseen by the dancers below, but should NOT be overlooked. Over the years typically running one or two ladies’ nights every week for many years, the Stampede has taken special pains to ensure the safety of its female clientele. Anyone threatening anyone, but especially someone menacing a lady runs the danger of immediate and permanent expulsion. Any fem...

"We wanted a place to escape the city and Cherry Creek was perfect. Loved the remote control airplanes and the hikes. Wish we would have brought a bike, there are paved trails everywhere for them. The lake was great with the carp jumping 3' out of the water. The birds were fun to watch. Could ea..."sily kayak around the edge of the lake. We very much enjoyed our stay.
