The Nao Victoria Museum is a private museum, aiming to provide visitors and locals a tool to experience the mysitic of the Magellan Strait through visiting replica of the most significant ships for the Region of Magellan. At the moment there are 3 complete ships:Nao VictoriaNao Victoria, was a carrack, 27 metres (89 ft) long, 7 metres (23 ft) wide, that was part of the fleet commanded by Ferdinand Magellan that discovered the waterway through the American continent. She was the only ship of the five to complete the first-time circumnavigation of the globe. She is one of the most famous ships in history of navigation.James CairdJames Caird, was a lifeboat of the Endurance, adapted by Harry McNish, that sailed from Elephant Island to South Georgia during Sir Ernest Shackleton's 1916 Imperial Trans-Antarctic Expedition. Many historians consider the feat of the crew of James Caird to be the most impressive of all global navigation.Schooner AncudAncud was the ship that, under an 1843 mandate of the President of Chile, Manuel Bulnes, claimed the Strait of Magellan on behalf of Chile's newly independent government, building Fort Bulnes. Commander of the schooner was Captain John Williams Wilson. In the shipbuilding workshop the construction of the HMS Beagle replica is on its way.HMS BeagleHMS Beagle, a British Navy brig, was converted into exploration vessel. The most famous of its three trips is the second one under the command of Captain Fitz Roy. On board was the young Charles Darwin. Beagle remained in the region for almost three years. The construction of the full size HMS Beagle replica started in November 2012.The Museum is interactive, it has a technological platform that includes: audioguide, touch screen, surround sound, and many replicas of ancient weapons which can be used by visitors.

"If you like adventure and the beauty of the great outdoors don't miss this opportunity to kayak amongst icebergs while the ever changing Torres del Paine view delights you. Alex was our guide and led us on a fabulous 5 hour paddle on the Grey River below the Grey Glacier and the Torres del Paine ul..."timately intersecting with the Serrano River. What an experience to be so close to unreal like deep blue icebergs as we focused on staying afloat navigating river currents and eddies. Our picnic lunch on the edge of the river was delightful, the equipment outstanding (and safe) and Alex's guiding superb. The weather changed throughout the day which changed the colors on the Torres in a spectacular way as we made our way down the river and enjoyed condors above. This is truly an outdoors person's delight. If you like kayaking you should not miss this opportunity. Well worth the money!

"What a way to end a 10-day trip of hiking, biking, and kayaking in Torres del Paine! Christian and Leslie were the perfect team for guiding a day-long kayak trip beginning amongst the icebergs in Lago Grey, then 20-plus km down the Rio Grey to the confluence with Rio Serrano. My buddy Dave and I wer..."e extremely impressed with the quality of the gear, the quality of Chris' safety lecture and equipment (after all, the water is just above freezing!), the precautions taken around the unstable icebergs and the few challenging currents, and yet the spirit of adventure, discovery, and paddling fun that Chris and Leslie encouraged. Great to have a local adventure guide like Chris, and both he and Leslie had great communication skills with our marginal command of Spanish. Muchos gracias! Plenty of lunch food and snacks, very relaxed pace, adventurous weather (a little rain but no wind, super light for photographing the brilliant blue icebergs, always changing peeks at Paine Grande through the cl...

"Hands down the most spectacular, awesome, impressive thing I have ever seen. Must be experienced in real life; videos don't even start to convey the majesty and power of it all. We saw some people's necks risked while we were there when the Glacier calves. I was so glad to be on the Skorpios Cruise...." The owner brings absolute safety and beauty to you, with great food and a lovely trip there and back. I am not adventuresome, so that was important to me. Amazingly beautiful Glacier - completely worth the trip.
