"The Addison Gallery of American is a special place. The current Frame by Frame exhibition of photography from the Addison's collection is a wonderful example of the treasures it freely shares with the public six days a week (closed Mondays). Over three hundred images from some of the greatest photog..."raphers from America. For example: Aaron Siskin's images of Harlem in the 30's. Bruce Davidson's images of a Brooklyn Gang in the 60's. Bill Owen's portrait of California Suburbia in the 70s. Robert Frank's challenging portrait of The Americans in the 50s. Not "just a little museum on a Prep school campus. This is a world-class home for some of the greatest art Americans have ever created. Visit it again and again. Make it a home away from home. Connect with out cultural heritage.

"When the daffodils and forsythia are at their prime, the sky clear, and a gentle breeze fills in from the west, it's a good day for an easy hike through the Ward Reservation. The trails are marked for 1, 2, and 3 miles or so and are criss-crossed with many paths from the Bay Circuit Trail which enci..."rcles the outer suburbs of Boston,
The frosted elfin is a silver and tawny moth that loves rocky outcrops and moraines such as those which form both Boston and Holt Hills. From the latter spreads a panoramic view to the southeast, including Boston's towers, and even Great Blue Hill. Descend from the lush meadow to a quaking bog and follow an abandoned lane, edged by rock walls and bedecked with roots, rivulets, and hammering woodpeckers.
The beauty of the season: no flies, bees, gnats or skeets! Just the little moths.
Enjoy!
