The Kawah Putih itself located in Ciwidey, quite neat and clean place, but it's far away from anything so you have to prepare to bring your own food or snack and mineral water. The view around Kawah Putih (white crater) is amazing ...., the forest is so unique, the Cantigi trees are beautiful, the color of the lake at the Kawah Putih also beautiful, bluish greeny ... but sometimes you can smell smelly gas ...that is why locals are selling disposable masks at the entrance gate. Not recommend to be here for hours, not good for health. One more thing that you can do on the way to this place, pick yourself strawberries from local's gardens, pay per kg.
