The tour, which is carried out 100% on horseback, begins in the modern stables of Don Tobías’ farm. There, a professional team of guides prepares visitors with pertinent information. Child-sized equipment is also available. Nearly all of the tour takes place on private lands, crossing through second generation forest and primary forest, as well as beautiful pastures, some of which were used for cattle, and, of course, visitors will see the magnificent Arenal Volcano that accompanies visitors throughout the trip.Departure: 8:30 am or 1:30 p.mDuration: 3 hoursIncludes: Transportation, guide, equipment, water.Suggested Equipment: Long pants, cool shirts, binoculars, cameras, sunscreen, and insect repellent.

Horseback Riding to the Arenal Volcano This adventure begins at the foot of the volcano on our private estate, surrounded by natural beauty and farm animals. Then you will meet our beautiful, healthy and safe horses, which for years have been trained to perform this activity safely. You will receive the basic training to manage your horse from our guide. The horses are trained so you can enjoy your tour without worries. You can admire the impressive craters caused by ancient volcanic eruptions. As you travel through our pastures you will search for beautiful birds like orioles, toucans and other surprises. You will see beautiful organic gardens where you will be impressed by the size of our vegetables and different varieties as well. During the tour you will enjoy beautiful scenery of the volcano and the lake as you immerse yourself in the beautiful forest and hopefully will be surprised by some of the animals that inhabit this amazing place. All from the top of your partner on this two and one half hour tour. At the end we will take you to our beautiful veranda where you will learn the history that lies behind the impressive Arenal Volcano and its beautiful lake. This is an adventure you will not forget ....... Departure times for this tour are. 7:30 am 11:00 am and 2:30 pm.

Lets do horseback riding in a farm on the base of the arenal volcano, where you can swim in the fortuna´s waterfall on the rain forest also visit an indian village (the malekus)they will show you how the live and what they do and a butterfly farm. Great for families, couples and kids the tour takes around 4 hours. One at 8:00am and 1:30pm
