"Whether you want to play 9 or 18 holes or buy the latest in golf equipment or apparel, this is the place to go. Arcade Creek Course can be played as 9 holes, front or back, or as 18. Challenging holes but a slightly funky in comparison to the Alistair Mckenzie couse next door. But the lower price ma..."kes it worth it.
The McKenzie course is one of the finest public courses in the area. It has 5 par fives and 5 par threes. Not the easiest course but very fair.
Great practice facility. The driving range is on mats, but it has automatic tees at three levels. Just dump in your bucket of balls, it will tee up. Hit it and the next ball pops up. Very cool. Multiple putting greens and chipping areas.
The Golf Super Shop is one of the largest golf stores in the country. It host a huge golf expo every spring. If they make it for golf, they carry it.
Youu can try out any club on the driving range. They will give you a small bucket of ball when you leave you I.D.
Their prices are very comparible...

"My 5-year-old and I have visited the museum a handful of times since we became members about six months ago. I initially gave it three circles but am upgrading my review to four circles. Why? It's still an older, smaller museum. However, I am very impressed with the interesting, interactive science ..."exhibits for children and the educational value (including arts and crafts) of all of their activities, which are plentiful. (Members get a monthly newsletter that previews upcoming activities.) The planetarium shows are always interesting -- they include space-related current events and a preview of what kids can see in the sky during this time of the year. We went to an animal show on Sunday - a 13-year-volunteer did an educational presentation about owls and had the museum's screeching owl. Kids had a chance to get up close (but not touch) the owl. All of the instructors/volunteers/docents are incredibly enthusiastic about getting children excited about science, and really engage with the...

"I went to the zoo with my husband and 5-year-old. It was our fourth visit over a course of about two years. It's a nice little zoo and the zookeepers are very friendly and often interact with the children. It is just right for families with small children - you (and your kids age 2+) will see a vari..."ety of animals without getting tired of walking. Small children will most likely want to go on the train ride (no tracks) and carousel, which are reasonably priced. The giraffe interaction is a great thrill for children (and some adults) and is well worth the low price. There is a small play area for young children who need to run around and play a bit. The self-service restaurant, Kampala Cafe, is really awful. Most of the offerings are unhealthy, low quality, and expensive for what you get. Almost everything comes with a side of fries. It is sad to see so many children walking around the zoo with a huge, sugar-laden slushy. Worst of all, the restaurant is very dirty -- the tables are uncle...
