"We were staying at Wyndham resorts, and they go with this company, and we had wanted to try ballooning, so up we went!
We took the 1 /12 hour "trip" - just know that some of that time is ground time helping set up and take down the balloon, as well as the traditional casual champagne brunch after..."wards. You even get a "brag" certificate! All in a very casual style.
I would encourage anyone who has wanted to see what going up in a balloon is like to try this - you really don't have any feeling of motion for those who might get "seasick", and we even had 2 men who confessed to being afraid of heights on the trip!
We were in the size balloon that hold 6 besides the pilot, and it is standing room only at that point, but everyone gets to be looking out over the side of the basket, so it works well.
Recommended!

"There is a great scenic overview just above this with a view of the valley, the falls are pretty, no need to hike a trail to see them, its just a few steps from the road"
"Hot springs are directly on the river and you can enjoy beer, wine, margaritas, smoothies, etc in the pools. the hot ones get hot during the day but there are multiple cooler ones with waterfalls that are relaxing to stay in for hours. Def worth a trip year round."
