"The house was very accessible with original furniture and a guide who was very well versed in the history of the estate. The house was built in 1916 but with many modern concepts.(Electricity, water, fire protection, ventilation). The gardens were well kept and the history behind them is a must to u..."nderstand. That detail is provided by a video prior to the tour that is a must see. Allow 3 hours for a casual visit.

"It exceeded my expectations. We were unable to attend the meal this visit, but we hoping that our church, Covenant Baptist will go soon so that we can enjoy a meal with them."
"I have always admired the Callaway family. Touring their beautiful home gave me an even grater appreciation for this family. I was a great introduction for our visit to Callaway Gardens."
