The Troup County Historical Society operates Troup County Archives and Legacy Museum on Main. The Archives offers a genealogy library containing items relating to Troup County, Georgia, and most southeastern states. Legacy Museum on Main is home to an exhibit gallery featuring West Georgia history and a rotating gallery spotlighting collections ranging from the archives collections to nationally recognized traveling exhibits. Open Monday through Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm. Legacy Museum on Main is open every Saturday while the Archives is open the first and third Saturday 10:00am to 4:00pm.

Senator Hill served in the Georgia Legislature, Confederate Congress, and U.S. House and Senate. One of the finest examples of Greek Revival architecture in the state. The exterior features ionic columns across wide porticoes.Located in the heart of LaGrange, Georgia the mansion is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is designated a National Historic Landmark by the National Park Service, U.S. Department of the Interior.Open for ToursTuesday through Saturday10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.and 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.Closed Sunday, Monday, & holidays
