Golfers seeking a real test of their abilities look forward to playing 7,057 yard, par 72 Mountain View, designed by world-famous golf architect Dick Wilson. Tight, tree-lined fairways are characteristic of this true championship course. Mountain View was home to the PGA Tour's Buick Challenge for more than a dozen years. One of Mountain View's most intriguing holes is the par 5, number 15 where the threat of water looms over both tee and approach shots. This hole was ranked as the fourth most difficult par 5 on the Tour by USA Today.

"I love Callaway Gardens. It's beautiful, and got a lot of beautiful scenery. I especially love coming here during the Christmas time, when they have the lights. They are also beautiful, and fun to see."
"It is beautiful drive through a gorgeous setting but we expected more flowers. The azaleas were through blooming and nothing really replaces them. The horticultural center was a hot house full of blooms however. The gardens are free to active duty and retired military and up to 5 more people--a gr..."eat value. We expected more "gardens" but enjoyed the peace and nature. We saw what we think was a coyote standing in the road.

"I live 20 minutes from Callaway Gardens and to be honest, never wanted to spend the money to go. Finally decided to check it out and was pleasantly surprised. It was $18.00 per person but you get alot for the money. So much to do. Beautiful butterfly observatory, many trails to walk, a thriving v..."egetable garden, a really nice man made beach with a beach bar, an acrobat show at the beach, a flying creature show complete with owls and other birds, picnic areas, a lake, etc, etc. We really enjoyed ourselves. It was a very relaxing day. Also choices of restaurants on and off site. Or you can bring your own food if you like. In and out privileges so if you wanted to go to Subway or KFC, not far away. Definitely worth the money. Would go again.
