  "I give rivers an overall 6/5 stars. This is just an unbelievable place. Once you walk in, its like las Vegas in Chicago (other than the size.. but were in des plaines not Vegas or ac) .. OK now if you enjoy sitting at a $5 table and making $60 last you the whole night, drive past and don't even both..."er. That being said, the dealers are awesome, the machines r new, and the food is great ( especially Hugo's) ! My advice to you is go in the morning BC the place gets packed fast and it may be difficult to find a table later in the afternoon. Keep it up rivers well be back for sure!   "Had always wanted to go to the Rivers as we had passed it many times and decided to take a bus trip from Milwaukee on a Sunday. Upon arrival we were very impressed with the fact they had all of the machines we love to play but were totally dissapointed to find out they were ALL 2cent machines. I l..."ove to play slots but never play more then minimum and here I had to pay .90 vs .45 everywhere else......so our money went faster then normal. Overall the casino is very very clean due to the non smoking atmosphere which is a plus it was a pleasure to actually smell food instead of smoke. The machines actually sparkled. We ate the buffet and I agree it is pricey but was worth it, everything was hot and tasted great...deserts as far as the eye could see.
