"Well facilitated and uplifting Liturgies and powerful homilies beckon any visitor with the very best the Roman Church has to offer in the region. The Jesuit feel of the place still persists and it makes one's worship experience all the better. The new organ just provides another added enhancement ..."to the worship experience.
St John's also has a great grade school next door with a math and science program that has won more state awards than there is room in the display case.
Take the trip to Jordan Street near downtown, it will be time well spent.

"I took my four children, ages 14, 16, 8 and 6. We all had a great time and ended up spending two days there. There was plenty of activities for every individual in our group. The park isn't supersized so the older children could be in one area and I could easily find them. The boys loved racing..." each other down those dual yellow slides. We appreciated that when the park had to close to lightning in the area they issued us rainchecks that allowed to come back at no charge at our convenience. I have been many places and no one has ever offered a rain check with such a generous policy. Food and drinks are served at the facility. Typical fare for such a venue. Not bad, not great but definitely standard food similar to that served at other amusement and water parks in the US. One very nice thing that this park offers is the convenience of taking your own picnic lunch and the outdoor covered picnic area that is super convenient to the park's entrance. There are plenty of lifeguar...

"People flock to the Shreveport area for the gambling and many head to Horseshoe since it is right off of the interstate. Eldorado is further into the downtown area and offers a better gaming experience (in my opinion). The facility is very nice, the rooms are spacious and clean, and the gaming area ..."has many table games (my preference). Although it does get crowded on the weekends, it is usually less crowded than Horseshoe, so it is a more relaxed experience.
