  "We drove out ourselves and it was an easy trip from NO. We took the 9:30am tour and were sent out with Captain Troy. We ending up being in a covered boat and it was still very cool even in June. I was surprised that we saw no mosquitos. Captain Troy explained it was due to the swamp being a living,..." moving swamp and there not being a lot of standing water. Capt. Troy was very knowledgeable about the wildlife, water, area and we learned a lot. We also saw dozens of gators, several birds, nest with babies, a wild pig and her babies and the famous wishing tree!
