"My son's and I visit the trail often. You can walk through some woods, down by the bay - great view of the Bay Bridge - and sit on the beach. Also see some duck's if your very quite."
"It was a beautiful day, and we enjoyed a circular walk here down to the beach and then back to the parking lot. The sandy beach has no shade and no seating, so we sat on a log. We wished we had bathing suits, a beach umbrella and a couple of chairs. Moms and their kids were here and people throw..."ing sticks for their dogs to swim out to retrieve and some couples walking along. The water was a nice temperature in April. The beach was relatively clean. A paved bicycle/jogging trail intersects the nature/beach trail.

"It was too cold and windy to be a beach day, but we loved watching a heron and egrets fishing. They have blinds in which you can sit. There were enough walkers and joggers that I wouldn't have felt unsafe on a solo visit. Dogs are welcome if leashed."
