The Mizumoto Japanese Stroll Garden is open from April 1 through October 31 annually. The operating hours are 9 AM to 7:30 PM Thursday through Monday. The Garden is closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Admission is $3. The Garden sits on 7 1/2 acres and contains three large ponds, several canals, a waterfall, Tea House and several other structures. The grounds are maintained by County Parks Department supported extensively by local volunteers. At the Ticket Booth, you can buy fish food for the Koi, and a tour guide booklet for minimal costs. During the latest off season, the Garden went through a major make over, vastly improving the water features and other visual improvements. These changes have made this already beautiful garden better than ever before.

"This place is just all kinds of great. We got a tour of the facility (which used to be a bread factory, and it's really cool to see how much of the stuff they were able to repurpose & use), and got to sample a few beers. First Firkin Fridays are always a blast. They have 3 staples that are year-r..."ound, then seasonals (Winter Grind is by far my favorite beer), plus tons of "tinker" small-batch brews. Their creativity & passion for the craft brew business really shows.

"If you enjoy the outdoors and wildlife you have found the holy grail! This is a must for anyone who enjoys nature. The museum is wonderful but the fish tanks and wildlife on display in the store is worth the trip. The merchandise is fantastic and price for quality is second to none. I prefer it over..." Cabela's and Gander Mountain. Plan on spending at least half a day if not the whole day taking it all in.
