There are so many good things about Story Land, it’s hard to know where to start. We took advantage of the fact that you can go after 2PM and receive tickets for another day. What a great deal! We went on Aug 31/Sept 1 and there we’re practically no crowds. The staff were all great… super friendly and helpful. My two kids (6 and 10) went on almost every ride several times and enjoyed every second of it. The park is very clean and well kept. It was an expensive day… nothing here is cheap. I’d rather have great memories than money, so I can’t really complain. My son’s only complaint was there were no characters to meet. He really wanted to see Rory (a dinosaur mascot), but there didn’t seem to be any characters around… I chalked that up to the end of the season. I bought him a Rory stuffie at the gift shop, and that was an acceptable bargain. We will 100% return next year and (I hope) many years to come.

This is on the smaller side for an aquarium, but does offer several touch tanks and my favorite, otters! The otters seemed happy and had a very clean enclosure. The touch tanks were cool, but I’d definitely recommend this for ages 3+ as I’m sure my 2 year old would be more interested in splashing (no fault of the aquarium’s). I would recommend that you pair it with Storyland which is right next door.

You get to see a covered bridge and lovely shopping area at the same time. They offer lots of items and it’s worth the stop. Beautiful bridge still as well.

this is the place to rent gear. its that simple. I came here with a contingent of Thais needing ski equipment for an alpine experience at a local ski area. Great prices. Friendly staff. Awesome service. This was my go-to for my kids when they were young. My 90 year old father rented his gear here this year.
    Ok... so I am biased.
    And if you don't ski....
Rent skis and just drink some beer at a local bar, pretend that you ski...get lit up...have fun.

So much fun trying introduction to ice climbing this winter with Noah and Torrin. My husband and I had a great day. Noah was a very patient teacher and we felt safe the whole time and learned a lot. Thank you to Northeast Mountaineering! We will be back!
