"Spent a wonderful rainy day at the museum. I can only imagine how beautiful it would be on a nice sunny day. The museum is spread out over several different buildings and each has it's own story to tell. My 2 year old loved exploring both indoors and outdoors. We noted many families with young c..."hildren also visiting that day - it is a great stop. One of our favorites during our first trip to the Adirondacks. Would most certainly recommend for both the quality and history it provides to visitors. Fantastic gift shop, courtesy strollers and wheel chairs also available.

"St. Regis Canoe Outfitters set up a day for us with seasoned guide "Doug". These guys really took care of us. I highly recommend getting out on the water and seeing the real Adirondacks. We did a half day tour of Jones Pond to Osgood Pond and the Paul Smith Canals linking up the two. Very reason..."able in terms of price and length of time out for beginners.
