It was far to cold for swimming however we jumped at the chance too swim into the hot springs at first it's cold but as you swim closer to ..."the centre it gets very warm.   "My wife and I arranged a 3-hour private hire of the 33 foot long speed-boat 'Alex'. The boat can accommodate up to 6 people. The skipper was Panagiotis Kantargis (known as Panos for short). He collected us at Ammoudi Bay in Oia for an evening sunset tour. He did a wonderful job of taking us around t..."he Caldera, telling us the history and pointing out the key features and villages. The boat is fast so you don't waste time getting from one sight to another. He stops so you can swim in the hot springs, and creates a great meal on board, with local Santorini wine.
