The surrounding area is worthy of a drive as well, lovely farm land, and from our base in Launceston, we were able to easily fill the day looking at the area. They are always in super condition (I've played there 3 times) and quite challenging. Your experience will be enhanced if you play off the tees appropriate to your handicap. Don't play the hero off the black tees if you're not that good. We stayed on course at Barnbougle Dunes. The cabins are well appointed and convenient. You are best to hire a car from Launceston Airport. The course is an easy 75-90 minuted drive from the aiport. Having a car also allows you to commute between the 2 courses easily (they are probably 7kms apart clubhouse to clubhouse). We haven't eaten at Barnbougle Dunes but have... " More >
