Island Surfboards was established in 1969 at Phillip Island. They got a great surf school at Smiths beach and a fun surf shop in Cowes. The coaches and staff are so proffessional at what they do and i had a fantastic time visiting Phillip Island because of them. I strongly recommend people to go there when you're in the area.

"Churchill Island is accessed from Phillip Island via a bridge. It has a circumference of 5Kms which can be walked in about an hour and a half. It costs $11.30 per adult and children $5.65 or $38.25 for 2adults and 2 children. The bridge is open between 10am and 5pm. You cannot stay on this island ov..."ernight. This is a beautiful escape from the hustle and bustle. On the island are various activities for families at different times throughout the day including cow milking, shearing, whip cracking, working dogs, blacksmiths and boomerang throwing. The Churchill Island Heritage Farm is a lovely collection of old homes and sheds with many farm animals. There are several walks around and across the island and a cafe for lunches, and morning and afternoon tea. It is serene on the tracks with spectacular views. A wonderful day for all ages!

"the bridge over freaked me out at first going over as it is one lane and you can't really see if anything is coming from the island, so be careful, when leaving however you can see the if there is any oncoming vehicles and you have to give way. Loved the cows, and the views were amazing. Plenty of..."fice to sit and enjoy the views, the activities are spaced out so if you want to see them, eg sheep shearing, milking cows etc then you will need to be there awhile, I guess if you have kids it would be a better experience in regards to farming activities. We loved the cafe and the views sitting having a glass of wine was very relaxing and enjoyable.

"It was really the weather that was wild, but if you rug up it is well worth it. The view are spectacular and even though I didn't see any seals I could see where the would be at the right time of the day. Restaurant was very expensive but the souvenir shop is very well stocked. I would definitely re..."commend having a look. I doesn't cost to get in.
