  "I was on the search for light houses and this one was first on my list. It is a old style cylinder with light on top. I got some great shots of it and the surrounding lake and features. Take a jacket. Even on a warm Spring Day the wind off the lake was bone chilling."

  "Went here in off season (early May) so this site was very serene, not over 25 people there at the time. Plenty of room to have picnics (picnic tables available). Benches to sit on or lots of large rocks that are flat and allow one to just sit and gaze out over the lake. Offers two outdoor restrooms ..."(they are just large port a potties, but sometimes necessary). The lighthouse stands there majestically still showing its pertinent history. The grounds are very clean and manicured nicely. You can see Cedar Point from the one bank. The whole place was so calming. I would go there daily just for meditation or relaxation if I lived closer.
