"The beach itself was pretty but very busy. It was hard to even find a space on the beach for 2 so I suggest getting there early. I love the beach period but what I didn't like here was that I found it to be rocky. I would go again if I didn't have a choice of another beach in the area."
"If you love fishing this is the town for you. It smells like fish in the air as you drive up. There really isn't much to do however, I like going here. There is a hotel here (yuck), the Block Island Ferry, some restaurants, bars and little shops. I go here for the fresh seafood. I buy it during ..."my stay and then another trip to fill up my cooler on the way home. Can't get better then fresh catch. It's a no frills kind of place but still fun to check out. If you like to fish here is where you can catch a fishing boat for some great deep sea fishing. I've never gone but I have family in the area that loves the trips.

"I can't get enough pictures of this place. I just think it's the landmark that makes the area. It makes you wonder what it was like to live here years ago. I was worried about hurricane Sandy and the damage it caused in the immediate area but I'm happy to hear that repairs are being made. Beaut..."iful! And if you like there are benches and a little park in the area to sit and just enjoy the view.
