  "Just got back from a week in Avoriaz where our 3 boys (aged 8, 6 and 4) had their first introduction to skiing. We had booked them into the Village des Enfants for 5 days (Mon - Fri) using their website and were slightly apprehensive for many reasons.... Would the classes be full of French kids? W..."ould the instructors speak English? Would the kids be in separate groups? Would they enjoy it? As it happened, we were worrying unnecessarily. Sure the instructors were French, most of the kids were French, the apres ski entertainment was all in French. Did our kids care? Not a jot. They LOVED it. They were put in 3 separate groups according to age, which, although initially we would have liked them all to be together, was the right thing to do. The instructors spoke enough English to make themselves understood and were well able to switch between English and French during the lessons to communicate with the 2 nationalities in the classes.   "Great setup for children, with a big slide and lazy river. Great fun. People do take pictures of their kids, so if your're fanatical about people having your kids on their pictures you may not like it. It's all very innocent. Was a little bit cold."
