What travellers are saying
- JJT152 contributionsThis is a beautiful park on Lake Winnebago with many fun things to do! We enjoyed riding the train, walking on the nice paths, looking at the various boats, and viewing the colorful, well-maintained gardens. We didn’t stay long enough to ride the carousel, visit the petting zoo, or climb to the top of the 40-foot lighthouse (which is free, and is open from May 1-Oct. 15). Next time we will plan to stay longer!Written 1 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Eisme77Janesville, WI1,605 contributionsTruly, one of our favorite new distilleries. This was distillery #29 for us in the Wisconsin/Illinois/Minnesota region. We arrived at opening on a Friday and were able to have a long discussion with the owner. He and his parents farm and also have built the distillery and rick house. We found out their story and their process of distilling quality spirits to the farm. It was a very enjoyable late morning as we were able to taste and have a cocktail. Had it not been for other plans, we definitely would have stayed longer. Excellent, excellent spirits. So much fun to support quality small businesses!Written 7 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Tina M21 contributionsYou pay either a flat daily price or you can become a member and pay once a year and go as often you wish. Lots of different activities for kids and adults. Mostly learning activities are offered. Clean, well organized, and safe. My granddaughter loved it!Written 2 February 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Wobbler E1 contributionGreat place, would recommend. The seats are a bit uncomfortable but overall a nice place. Would go back for more events.Written 11 January 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- LKreissGlen Ellyn IL USA46 contributionsMy husband & I spent several hours at the Galloway house & village today. We spent several hours wandering through the various buildings. The docent who gave us a guided tour of the Galloway house was very knowledgeable about the Galloway family and other information about that historical time. The other buildings you walk through at your own pace. There are so many different historical items to view. Some of the buildings need some renovation, but, that costs money & time. This place has the potential to be a shining gem for the area. I am grateful for the work and money that has already been invested in this place.Written 21 July 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Mayflower1975Fond du Lac, WI11 contributionsTaylor Park and Pool is a beautiful, tree filled, historic park. There is a .5 mile walking park, tennis courts, pickle ball courts, a fantastic 50 meter pool, splash pad, a lovely gazebo and a the original pavilion that is over 100 years old. The park and pool are gems in the city of Fond du Lac.Written 5 February 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - KJA_SlingerSlinger, WI68 contributionsNever knew this place was there... Spend an hour perusing the amazing collection of beautifully restored collector cars and a couple modified cars as well. Call in advance for hours.Written 31 May 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Lauren CFond du Lac, WI6 contributionsAMEN! I loved the environment. The human concerns department is stupendous! The priest I had was intimidating but nice homily! Very family friendly! - AmosReduxOshkosh, WI558 contributionsThe Mascoutin Valley State Park Trail has two segments. One goes from Fond du Lac to Rosendale. The other goes from Ripon to Berlin. Alas, the two are not connected. We rode the latter today. It's about 12 miles. The surface is crushed stone and is in decent condition considering it is a multi-use trail. Trees lining most of the trail protect you from summer sun and wind. There are no amenities anywhere on this segment. Elevation is minimal. There are benches scattered throughout the trail in case you need to rest.Written 23 May 2016This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - MissWiscAppleton, WI306 contributionsI ended up here accidentally. Went to see a band which I though was at a bar, but it turned out to be at this beautiful little theatre. Would go again.Written 18 September 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
