There were n..."ice hand-on activities for the kids - a crayon rubbing/drawing area, using a type of fishing pole to get the feel of a traditional fishing method, and (most of all) sitting in the kid-friendly recreated canoe and playing in the 'medicine man' lodge. (That entertained them for a long time). My husband and I enjoyed the descriptions, information, artifacts and pictures. We were very curious about what kinds of sacred items were kept in a locked Tribe-member-only area, but still thought it was neat that such an area is there for Tribe members. Glad we visited.
