  "Upon arriving, found out we had missed the tour by 15 minutes and had to wait 45 minutes for the next tour. So, we hung out and had a soda. A very nice calm and peaceful area. It was nice to relax after a day of driving in the heat of August. A nice young man gave the tour. He had just started ..."there this summer, but said he went on tour after tour after tour to learn all he could about the prison before he started giving tours himself, and it showed – he was great. This prison had a raw natural look and feel about it. While the Wyoming Territorial Prison in Laramie was restored to appear as it had when actually in use, this prison was left as it was when it closed. It had a much more “real” feel about. He told stories about how some fights and uprisings had happened. We got to sit in the gas chamber where executions actually took place – same chair and everything.
