Enjoy a breathtaking guided trip on the West Coast’s longest and most accessible glacier. We have a very long and proud guiding history ensuring safety by training our guides through the internationally recognised New Zealand Mountain Guides Association. When making your way through this incredible world of ice enjoy the educational interpretation our guides impart. We have trips designed to suit all fitness levels and currently we are the only West Coast glacier that has access onto the ice by foot or helicopter giving clients more options.

"This was an amazing experience and my first time both in a helicopter and on a glacier. We lucked out with amazing weather. That is the one risk as they will cancel the tour if the weather is bad. However they have good refund policies if that does happen, but you do take a gamble when booking that ..."it might be cancelled. We were rewarded with great weather and had a fantastic time. They take you up in the Helicopter which was very scenic and about an 8 minute trip, landing right on the glacier. They outfit you with footwear and have jackets, socks, and boots available. Then you guide takes you all over the glacier looking at ice formations and enjoying the scenery. We were on the glacier for about 2.5 hrs. Our guide was very experience and passionate about the mountain and glacier and seemed to enjoy showing us around as much as we enjoyed listening to him teach us about the glacier. I would highly recommend this to anyone who is traveling through Fox Glacier.

"We did the half day hike. This gets you on the glacier for 1 1/5 hours which was enough to experience this great big ice mass. Our Irish guide was great. It rained the whole time, but the good equipment (lovely fitting boots e.g.) made it a great and comfortable morning."
"I chose the flight C (30 minute Mt Cook & Fox Glacier tour) and it was incredible.
I had never been in a helicopter before so was v nervous but Clark the receptionist made me feel at ease with a professional safety briefing.
Clark drove us to the Helipad where were were greeted by Michael the pil..."ot.
We flew up the Fox Glacier and WOW!! Michael entertained us with a lively commentary & positioned us for the best shots when we landed on the ice opposite Mt Cook.
We were on the snow for quite some time & weren't rushed, so I got some great pictures with the helicopters and the mountains behind!!
The great thing was we all had window seats the whole time!
Fab experience!!!
Thanks Clark, Michael, Therese, Nathan and the rest of the team!!!
