Dumaguete City Attractions: Places to Visit in Dumaguete City
"My friend (ex bf) and I went there last year. It was AMAZiNG to see this 2 gorgeous lake. i was actually surprised when i went to the tourist guide center and asked where the best place to go. And they said we should check this twin lakes. We hired a motorcycle to get there. The road is a bit trick..."y but you gotta choose the right person to bring you there. You may ask the driver if he been there many times so to make sure he recognize all the bumps in a dirt road. And always ask for the price . They usually charge 1,000 pesos normally but we get it 600 pesos. But it's worth it. The view is so beautiful once you arrive to the" one and only cafe "before the first lake. :) This is good for a day trip so I suggest you need to bring your own food . The girl at the cafe can't really speak English and they have pretty limited choices of food. But you can always buy a drink. Anyway, we really love it.

"It's a sunny day and two of my friends decided to go to Twin lakes. Getting there: you may rent a motor for a day (dumaguete downtown has lots of motorcycle rentals) or you may have "habal2x" take you there. 30-45 minutes motor ride you will see first lake Balinsasayao, entrance fee is 10pesos for f..."ilipino and 100 for foreign visitors. for you to take a look to the other twin, which is lake Danao, you may go on trekking, or the shorter way, you may go on boating...boating rental is 250php/hour good for 7 persons. If you are expert in paddle, you may have a single kayak for 2 persons 100php/hour rental.

"Because of a recent typhoon easy access to here is a bit difficult. The road gets rough and then you must go down (and eventually back up!) 335 steps. The concrete pathway from there to the falls has been completely destroyed by the storm. You have to climb over very large boulders and cross the riv..."er to get to the falls. It is a beautiful 100' falls when you get there however! Leg pain for a couple days after if you are not used to this work out!
