La Union Province Attractions: Places to Visit in La Union Province
"We left Baccuit Sur Bauang where my house is at about 9.00 am. I have my own 110cc motor bike and my friend Peter from the UK hired a 125cc bike, his other friend who we will not name... Mac was busy with the girl he met the night before at a Night Club so he did not come.

"Going to the small town of Luna in the Province of La Union is one of the "perfect getaway destinations" in Northern Luzon. The former name of Luna was "Namacpacan" due to town's reputed hospitality to the visitors/travelers. Namacpacan is ilocano word which means "one who had given food".
Luna is..." known for its "Pebble Beach" and the famous Luna Church or St. Catherine of Alexandria Parish Church-Shrine Our Lady of Namacpacan which was built in the 18th-19th centuries by the Augustinians. The church is rich in history and even miraculous incidents. The church has an eye-catching facade painted in Blue and White colors, the official colors of the Image of Our Lady of Namacpacan, the church and the town. Even all tricycles, local means of transportation in town are painted in blue (light blue). Cool right? Plan your next trip to Luna and discover the beauty of the small town from present time back to spanish era.
