1. Starting off!

Trail head from the parking lot in Rundle.

2. Trail Junction

Junction point! To the left is the river walk to Hermitage Park and the trail to the right will take you to Gold Bar Park

14. The old Railway Bridge

This bridge used to be the only way for people to cross the river to other coal mining sites. There used to be 'barrels" for people to hide in if a train come on the bridge.

17. Emergency phone location

There are 19 Emergency Phones located in Edmonton's section of the park system. They are also known as Blu Phones.

18. Past the golf course looking south

You can see one of the refineries off in the distance. The duality of Alberta, park on one side of the river, industry on the other.

19. Nice paved paths on the way down

After a long walk uphill and a few staircases, it is nice to head down.

20. Science Park Footbridge

This footbridge leads to the Strathcona Science Park. Lots of great trails over there as well!
