You'll be hiking back on a single lane dirt road that gets the occasional car or truck. Though the beautiful views are a constant distraction, be mindful of the vehicle that might be just around the corner.
The water is so clear, it's easy to forget you are just off the coast of Southern California.
This trail begins to feel longer than it actually is, but mainly because of coves like this that add an extra mile to walk around.
From Two Harbors, you can take the ferry back to the mainland, or catch the shuttle to Avalon (it leaves at noon).
Ferry service to and from Two Harbors is limited. Check the schedules for days and ports on the mainland that are served.
