Points of Interest

1. Parking Area

You'll need a Northwest Forest Pass to park here.

2. Head Right

At this trail intersection head right towards the dunes. You'll have just over another quarter mile of woods before you get there.

3. Dunes!

Have fun walking across these dunes. Take your shoes off. Trust me, barefoot is easier.

4. Roll up your pants

You'll most likely have to walk on the side of or in this stream to get to the open beach. When you get to the beach you'll want to walk south another mile until you see the trail heading back into the woods to your left towards Threemile Lake. Use the GPS track in this guide.

5. Threemile Lake

As you approach this lake look back for some great views of the Pacific. This is a freshwater lake. From here enter another forest and follow the trail for a couple miles back to your vehicle.
