Needed a cheapish hotel near to Poole ferry terminal as had early Condor ferry to Jersey in morning. This hotel was much cheaper than hotels in Poole and only about 10 minutes from harbour. Pleasantly surprised by nice large spacious car park (hate having car squashed into tiny spaces). Receptionist was young lad who had a joke with me when...

Brought a night away here off Groupon and was very surprised. The rooms were very clean and modern. Bed was lovely and soft, TV was the perfect size for the room. Reception were very pleasant and helpful. There was a wedding being held at the hotel the night we stayed but didn't hear any loud music or people. We didn't...

It is pretty hard to find a Sunday Roast where they managed to messed up every part of it. At leased one bit is normally ok. This matched with a cold atmosphere and welcome mixed with poor service makes this the worst meal I have had in a long time.

Just got back from Bournemouth and I've got to say I can't say enough about the bridge house hotel! The staff at this hotel were outstanding. Polite, friendly and welcoming? Our room was immaculate, with a beautiful river view. Breakfast was lovely, with an all you can eat buffet. They also do a carvery mon-sat for just £5!! Would recommend...

There was no wardrobe only hooks and hangers which meant leaving garments on display in the room and through the window. A simple stand or shelf for a suitcase would have made a big difference....

Stayed there for one night in September 2011 and it was a horrible night. The room we booked was supposed to have a double bed, but it barely qualified as a queen bed, far too small. The room was too hot so we had to open the window. However there was a wedding there and everybody was outside (since you...

We came for a £5 midweek carvery. the meat was delicious and the veg nicely cooked, but the roast potatoes were dreadful. the childrens meal was plentiful and cooked fine..We decided to come a second time, wondering if the potatoes might improve another time, but once again, they were horrible..they tasted old as if they had been re-heated which was...
