We booked this hotel for two nights and wasn't going to spend time in her by day so just needed to have a good night sleep. Unfortunately the one bed in room 109 on the ground floor (accommodated for disabled) had a dip in there and the pillows weren't that great either. The room was very basic but could be improved... Room was spotless and the furniture was far superior to the average budget hotel. Good coffee tray, with more sachets than usual of coffee, tea, and chocolate, also biscuits supplied. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Massive well lit free car park. Rooms at back have lovely view of river and meadows and are particularly quiet. Downside, No Sky tv!!.

So out of the blue I landed a lucrative contract to work as a test engineer just outside Ringwood, only problem is at the time I was living in Cornwall - which at a three hour drive each way isn't exactly commutable. I needed a place to stay for up to 6 months. I needed somewhere not too expensive which... More

Stayed one night on the way to Cornwall, very accomodating reception staff, we were made to feel very welcome. The room overlooked the river, spacious and comfortable although I found the bed a little too soft. Lovely decked area outside the dining room to eat/drink. Full English breakfast was one of the best I've had. The hotel was easy to... More

This hotel offers great value for money and has the benefit of being more individual than a Pemier Inn. We had a room overlooking the river which was clean, though we could hear the conversation the man in the next room held on his telephone. The the bed was too soft for us, I was glad I would not be... More

I stayed in the hotel in December 2012 following a business meeting there and was very impressed. The staff were helpful and friendly, the bedroom and meeting room were clean and had everything you would expect. Parking was easy with a huge car park and the hotel had nice views across the river. I didn't have dinner there but breakfast... More

After trying other carverys around this area, this was one of the best I have ever eaten in. The service was very good .The carvery was itself was outstanding. The choice of vegetables was impresive and portions more than adequate. No problem if you wanted a top up. Book to get a window seat and you look over the river. The... More

Stayed at the Bridge House for 3 nights, intended going to Premier Inn but quite expensive over New Year. The place was ok, decent room and facilities, nice view over the River, ok breakfast and good parking, only real downside was the Bed. It was so soft and tired that you just rolled into the middle all night, hence we... More
