I had never stayed in this type of accomodation before, which is essentially, someones home, and therefore was a touch apprehensive. I need not have worried. On arrival, we were welcomed, given the relevent details, and left to our own devices. Clean, comfortable room, superb four poster bed, and a great bath. Great views. Great breakfast, (which I don't usually... More

£90 for two nights bed & breakfast, the room was lovely with a comfortable bed. The bathroom wasn't ensuite but was just across the corridor and had a large roll top bath which easily accommodated two people. The breakfast (have to disagree with previous poster) was more than enough with a cooked breakfast, toast, cereal, yogurt and fruit. The owners... More

We stayed in the Hayloft and Tack Room, which is an ideal arrangement for parents with two chldren. The accommodation offers two separate rooms, connected by a hallway, all with a single entrance door to the outside. So you are completely self contained. The children could run around the large garden areas, play on the slide, and generally be free... More

On our first visit we stayed for one night and loved the place so much spent two nights on a return visit two weeks later. Charles and Vicky made us very welcome and the breakfast was fantastic, made with locally sourced produce. We stayed in the Hay Loft and found it very comfortable, peaceful and quiet with everything we could... More

This is a comfortable and well situated guesthouse. When we stayed there was snow on the ground and despite being away from the main house, in a seperate annexe, we were warm and cosy. Standards of cleanliness were good, with the room being well equipped and well furnished. The downside had to be the breakfast, hardly generous I'm sorry to... More

When we booked the bed and breakfast for two of our employees we did state that we needed either 3/4 nights stay. We were told that they would take £125 initially off the credit card as a deposit, however they took for 4 nights accomodation straightaway. When the employees arrived they also stated that it would probably for 3 nights... More

We arrived after supper - probably around 8 PM - and went right to our room. It was clean, neat, with fresh towels and a small kitchenette (for which the refrigerator had been turned on so it was nicely chilled). There was a large window with a smaller one opposite, so we had good cross-ventilation and plenty of fresh air... More

As a very seasoned B&B'er I had high hopes for Hilltop House. It certainly has the stunning views and the owners (Charles & Vicky) did make the effort to put 2 comfortable twin beds together to enable my partner and I to have a double. However, this is really all I can put in the plus column. I cannot speak... More

We are so disappointed to read your review. Our converted Hayloft forms part of our 18th Century listed Georgian property. The conversion to the Hayloft was designed by an architect, and approved by our local council. All conversion work was carried out by industry approved builders/electricians, etc. Once the building was complete, the project was approved, and signed off by... More

The village of Brosley is several km's from IronBridge but this B&B is realy worth the extra effort. It is a lovely old house with the result we had a huge room , big enough for a settee and an entry to the ensuite bathroom ( yes a bath) through this funny old small door. Nice view down the hill...
