Red Tree Melaque is located on the banks of the Laguna del Tule in Melaque-Villa Obregon, Jalisco. There are 5 bungalows, each with flat screen TV, telephone, DVD, AC, private baths and kitchens. We also have a beautiful 10 meter long pool in a very charming garden.
We had a great week at The Red Tree Bungalows. The bed was very comfortable, we had everything we needed in the bungalow and the pool was clean. We had great Wifi and free telephone service throughout North America - seriously! Bill helped us find things in town, told us about local customs and sat and chatted when we wanted. Couldn't ask for more.

Booked for one week and wished we'd spent our whole holiday there. We endorse everything positive other reviewers say. Perfect for singles or couples wanting a relaxed time, with every facility. Only drawback is that it is 15 minutes walk from the center of Melaque, but there are plenty of places that hire bikes.

Fabuloso bungalow a bit off the beaten path in Melaque. Our bungalow was nicely appointed with a very comfortable bed, well laid out kitchen with filtered, reverse-osmosis water, flat-screen TV with Netflix, wi-fi. There are only 5 bungalows, situated around a well manicured yard with a lovely pool, and coconut trees. Owner Bill - a US ex-pat - is a sweetheart, attentive but not intrusive. Even lent us a couple of bikes which greatly added to our week there. Highly recommended

This three month stay made us realize that we lucked in to the best landlord of the country. The service was more than expected and better than any other similar establishment in the region. Except for food everything was provided. We even had the pleasure of a large video library to use and play at will on our flat screen tv. The rent included everything from toilet paper to hand towels; dish soap and hand soap; access to washer and dryer, a gas BAR-B-QUE (GAS PROVIDED) and a good size solar heated pool; cleaning services twice weekly where one time, the bedding is refreshed and the next, towels are chaged. The place is super clean and only dirty between the two vists by the cleaning lady and then only as much as you grunge up your living space. You live in a small gated complex protected from intruders by high fences and a small dog that will lick you to death. You live amongst three or four neighbours that become holiday friends. Most tenants are return customers year after year. And, we anticipate being one of fthese return customers for next year and years to come. A great place to stay and relaxe. Multiple services nearby.…

I really appreciated the details gone into creating the rooms such as fruit & veggie cleaner, a blender, stereo, bathroom soaps, safe, all the kitchenware you could want and constant drinking water refills. They have mastered the art of hospitality and I look forward to my next stay!

My wife and I stayed at Red Tree in May. The bungalows are quaint and very nicely decorated, with everything available for a very pleasant stay. A/C, Wireless Internet, hot water. Paper products, dishes, glasses, stove, refrigerator, TV, cable, DVD, movies. The owners were always mindful of our comfort and worked hard to make sure we were happy and comfortable.
