We stayed in a condo for our family ski week with 4 generations ranging in age from 11 to 91 and everyone had a great time. The condo was nicely decorated and still seems pretty new, clean and pretty well maintained - minor issues like some light bulbs out and a bad toaster, but was otherwise all we needed for... More

Taos is so friendly, quaint and welcoming! Great ski in and ski out place with fantastic views of the whole mountain Never met a grumpy person including at this place. Very kind and friendly staff! We really enjoyed our time there and hope to go back soon!

This marks our fourth season staying at the Edelweiss. We often come for several weekends per year. What's not to like: slopeside location, beautiful condos (all individuall owned). We usually stay in a 1br condo, but friends have stayed in the "hotel rooms" (really a blocked off bedroom from one of the condos with direct access to the hall) and... More

Favorite things about this place: Underground parking (at no additional charge). Great location to lifts, rental shops, restaurants, ski schools. Staff is very friendly and helpful (they made a point remember our names). Restaurant on the 1st floor which is open for breakfast and dinner. There is a spa (best massage i have had in a long time...ask for Cat),... More

We spent Christmas in a 2 bedroom condo with a tremendous view of Strawberry Hill from our kitchen table. We enjoyed watching the antics of beginning skiiers from the floor-to-ceiling windows every day and watching Christmas movies beside the gas fireplace every night. The building management and staff went out of their way to make sure our needs were met... More

I have stayed a lot of places around Taos and can honestly say none comes close to the Edelweiss. It is the definition of ski in ski out, you come right out on Strawberry Hill. The condos are all individually decorated and owned, making for a real unique feel. The staff are great, the restaurant is gourmet and delicious, I... More

We had a one bedroom condo with full kitchen for a 5 day trip. Ski in ski out with full support facilities, lockers and ski shop right in the building. Comfortable and clean with a working gas fireplace. Sort of an alpine / Southwest feel. Had a great massage and overall service was very good. Friendly, they treat you like... More

We enjoyed a very comfortable five night stay in a one bedroom unit at the Edelweiss. Our stay was flawless. The concierge, Kwalimu Harris, and the manager, Kent, were very helpful in booking our stay and helping plan our off-site activities (e.g., horseback riding).During our off-season stay (July) only one of the two restaurants on the property was open. However,... More

From the moment we made the reservation you could tell this stay was going to go smoothly. We got an email confirming all the details of our stay and the concierge was offering any additional assistance. We had told them we had 3 teenagers in the room and just wanted to make sure the bedding would work. Our initial room... More

We stayed at Edelweiss for 2 nights and the hotel is fine but nothing special. There is no service really as it is a condo, and the rooms were average, but the location is literally next to lift 1. We did not eat at the restaurants but they looked just okay. It was a good place to stay though as... More

We thank you for your business and certainly hope you will try the restaurant next time. Our lock off "hotel" rooms (unit without kitchens or living rooms) are indeed on the smaller side. We try to emphasize this when a guests is booking and suggest a condominium for longer stays. The lock off rooms are part of larger condos with... More
