Oh I want to come back here soon. I stayed for one night only as I was attending a charity night at The Point, which is next door to this little beauty. Michelle on reception was a joy. I was shattered from work and had travelled here...my energy flagging at the thought of the night ahead. Michelle raised me back... More

I stayed at this hotel on the Friday and Saturday of one of Manchesters busiest weekends. We arrived late at night - the staff helped us with ordering food in at such a late hour, served us drinks while we waited for food, gave us use of crockery and cutlery etc when our food arrived. Our room was upgraded for... More

Stayed the night as went to a company do at the Point (which was also great). Room clean and comfortable, bed very comfortable, lots of hot water in the shower. Tea making facilities, lots of tea and coffee on the tray. Receptionist very pleasant and helpful. Lovely breakfast, continental style and plenty of it. Although I don't live to far... More

coffee making facilities in rooms, very clean. staff very friendly. There is no restaurant, but you are able to order in takeaways (staff even ring to order for you). Continental breakfast was good-help yourself to as much as you want--cereal, toast, rolls, cakes and croissants, ham, salami cheese, fruit, yoghurt, tea , coffee, juices. There is also a bar. Two outstanding features were the price (which for Manchester was exceptional given its over-inflated view of itself in terms of hotels) at under £50 per room and a most helpful Receptionist who was very welcoming and fixed two small problems quickly and efficiently. For the rest it is what it is. I had a Standard Room which was standard. View... More

Stayed here the weekend of the Manchester marathon as myself and my husband were both running, The location was perfect, 5 minute walk from the start/finish line. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Not the biggest of hotel rooms but adequate. Tea/ coffee facilities readily available. We had the breakfast included in the stay. It was nice and a good selection... More

An overall great place to stay Very good value and close to old Trafford football ground and the metro for visiting the rest of Manchester. Good size clean rooms and a very acceptable continental breakfast included in the price. Very helpful staff as we rang to check that the roads were accessible as it had snowed quite heavily the night... More

This hotel is one of my favourites if nothing else than to watch the cricket, we visit every year to watch a few one day games at Lancashire and will be going again on 20 May 2013. Only stay in an executive room as they are the ones with the pitch facing balconies, the rooms are basic but other than... More

Pleasant surprise I was booked in to the Old Trafford Lodge by a colleague and I must say I was slightly apprehensive of the rooms which I believe double as private boxes when the cricket is on. I had absolutely no need to worry the rooms were well appointed and I got a good nights sleep and a nice hot... More

It felt like I'd had about two hours sleep as the people in the room next to me stayed up most of the night talking (not loudly, particularly), the walls are just so thin. I am usually a very good sleeper but this ruined me for the next day when I was meant to be concentrating. It's not the first... More
