we use this chain a lot for its £12-£25 rooms. rarely pay more - you just need to plan in advance. probably stayed in around 40 different travelodges so far and these rooms are probably the largest and brightest. as travelodges go this a a clean one.the staff are always friendly, polite and happy to arrange extra towels and bedding.... After eventually finding the hotel, which is rather hidden, first impressions were that it's basic. The rooms are very basic, more so than other travelodges. We had great difficulty finding it even by using our sat nav. Had to ask at the Premier Lodge. We eventurally found it - very remote. Large rooms, very basic, clean, comfortable. Not really suitable for spending any amount of time in, but for a cheap overnight stay that allows you to enjoy the Manchester attractions, it's ideal. More

Stayed here recently. Got the room on a special offer rate (thankfully). Checked into the room, which was nearly as grim as the Glasgow Central TL, but not quite.
