Arrived on October 26, 2008, and will check out after 3 nights in room 1001. I concur with everything MapleG wrote, and the small room (twin for two of us) didn`t bother me. I like the deep bath tub (Japanese style) in the room...nice to relax in after a long day of sightseeing. I was pleasantly surprised with the breakfast.... More

Stayed here for 2 nights in March 2008 while making a 10 day trip to Japan. Spent the first 8 nights in Tokyo, and the last 2 here. No real reason for picking Yamagata, other than I found this hotel on the net, and I had a rail pass, so what the heck. Price-could not beat it--5800 Yen per night... More
