We booked a last minute stay with the hotel through Late Rooms. The drive to the hotel is through beautiful countryside and upon arrival the hotel was just beautiful set in it's own lovely grounds with gorgeous views. We were met at the door by the very pleasant owner Iain, who welcomed us with a complimentary whisky or sherry to... More

Warm welcome Hotel is as described on website, great start to break in Highlands. Would happily stay again and recommend to others. Location great with walks of all levels available. Late snowfall made mountains look spectacular.

We stayed at the hotel during a whirlwind 2 week visit to the UK. I was looking for a special place in the middle of the countryside for my girlfriend's first ever visit to Scotland, and boy did we find it. We had pre-booked the afternoon tea for when we arrived in the late afternoon and it was ready waiting... More

This was our third visit to this hotel and there is no doubt we shall return. Iain and Elaine have managed to maintain an excellent continual high standard quality product reflected in all areas of their hotel. From Iain's very warm welcome and complimentary dram on arrival, our whole stay can only be described as a real pleasure from beginning... More

We stayed at Tigh na Sgiath for three nights in The Cromdale room which was very comfortable and a good size with nice views. The bathroom was "art deco" style and I think original the bath was great for a long soak. We liked the location and the local walk along the sky of Curr trail with our dogs. The... More

Just back from a (too short) stay at the Tigh na Sgiath. Set in a very quiet spot but still only minutes away from main routes north and south. On arrival you are greeted with a complimentary whisky or sherry as you complete the simplest check in procedure in front of a blazing log fire. Our room (Tulchan) was spotless,... More
