“freezing and unwelcoming”

The rooms have no heating and were 10 degrees at night (although when we complained the manager provided a portable heater). Manager was very uptight and clearly hated having our toddler around - made us feel very unwelcome and wouldn't let us store our bags there on our last day. Manager's constant presence killed the atmosphere in all communal areas.... More

Thank-you for your feedback. Normally the fire from down below heats the rooms. In the past we have had people tell us it was too hot. The manager at the time of your stay in December had not been keeping the fire stoked throughout the day without our knowledge and we apologize for this. For those that feel the need... More

We stayed for 3 nights at the Alpine Central and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The lodge is operated by Holiday Niseko, an Australian company, therefore booking and enquiries were a breeze for English speakers.
