I stayed here only 1 night in the end because therer aren't many tourists in Creel right now and as I'm traveling on my own I struggled to get on a tour of the canyon. The hotel guys were pretty lax about helping me find a suitable tour once they had my payment for my room. Also I relate to... More

This place in central Creel offers good rooms, evening meal and breakfast at reasonable price. The evening meal is simple, local cuisine - recommended. Just one word of warning if you book a tour thru' this place, then make sure you define completely what is included. We took an exppensive trip to Batopilas at 4000MEXP for 2 but the little... More

Pleasant hotel. Staff drove van to train station and handled all luggage plus transported us to hotel. They were able to accommodate 5 couples. Breakfast and Dinner were included with price of hotel room. Food was fair. The staff was very pleasant and attentive to our needs. Good location since we were able to walk to all the shops in... We first looked at Casa Margarita but were recommended to go to the Margarita Plaza. It turned out that if you stayed at Casa Margarita you still had to walk to the Plaza for meals. We stayed here during our wonderful visit to the magnificent Copper Canyon. We negotiated the same rate as the hostel and it included breakfast and... More

Hotel was clean and comfortable. Meals were very good. The staff did an excellent job of accommodating our vegan diet. Isabel at the front desk was very courteous and helpful. CRT TV's have an outstanding selection of channels. The only minor downside was the low doorway clearance to the bathroom. Be sure to duck if you are 6' tall or... More

The hotel offers a good value for your money: decent rooms, cable TV, breakfast and dinner included, etc. Our experience there would have been a great one if it had not been for the frontdesk clerk Rodrigo who organized a tour for us with his brother Luis. Rodrigo lied to us about the price and what to expect from the... More

Everyone we know stayed here, and we liked it. Some reviews wrote about poor food. C'mon, people, it's 2 multi-course meals at a low room price, with organized tours if you want them. You want fine dining, stay at the Best Western and pay a lot more. The staff was nice, room was roomy and clean. Even had wireless internet.... More

Our expreience started out good. We were picked up at the train station and driven the few blocks to the hotel. Rodrigo who picked us up was eager to offer some tours. For the first day we rented some mountain bikes and they came about an hour after booking these. The bikes were ok, but one of them kept jumping... More

We were initially given a price of 500 pesos which we bargained down to 450. We later met a couple who did not speak Spanish and were paying 650 for an identicle room. Management are clearly not above taking advantage of people. The room we had (204) was nice if a little cramped, a feeling not helped by the low... More

For MX$600 (april 2009), you get a good place to stay, good breakfast and dinner (we went to a couple of restaurant, and I prefered the hotel taste, actually doubled my dish), and in the downtown. Due to restoration, there were some noise in the morning and noon (like 10AM and 4PM), but I mean, they're improving, next time It... More
