We stayed here for two nights. Ina was very welcoming and our room (number 8 or 9 I think) was great, lovely large bathroom with nice soap and shower products. The water is treated naturally on site and safe to drink - delicious sweet tap water! A nice change from London. Our breakfasts were really good, we also had a... More

I've never actually stayed at the Prince's House, but I have eaten here several times. The food is really, really good. This time I had Argyll dry cured ham with warm new potato and Dunsyre Blue cheese salad to start. The ham was delicious, and the blue cheese and cooked potatoes went with it really well. I continued with a... More

We had two beautifully presented dinners here. A good choice and fair prices. Would definitely recommend this hotel for dining. Warm and friendly ambience. We did not stay here but were based at a nearby hotel which was overpriced and with a very chilly dining room.It was such a treat to find this hotel on our doorstep and we were... More

We have stayed at the Prince's House Hotel several times and it never disappoints! It is the perfect base to relax or to explore the rugged and beautiful countryside. We always stay in the rooms at the front of the hotel - the decor is comforting and watch out for the coombed ceilings if you are tall. The food at... More

Stayed for two nights April 2013 and can honestly say we had a wonderful time. Lovely hosts who made us feel so welcome nothing was too much trouble. Our room was beautiful with a four poster bed, seating area and lovely bathroom with plenty of hot water. The food in the evening was excellent and very reasonably priced. Breakfast was... More

We came across this small place travelling around Scotland in 2006, we stayed only 1 night on our way from Skye Island to the south but we wish we stayed longer!! The lady in the reception was lovely and took care of us, the food was spectacular (salmon just fished around the corner). Room was beautiful and clean. Everything was... More

We stayed 1 night on our way to Skye and wished we had stayed longer. The owners were simply lovely people and made us feel so welcome. We had dinner in the bar and it was the best of our week long trip through Scotland. Breakfast was equally scrummy. Room was cute and comfortable. The bathroom wasn't anything to write... More

After a very beautiful but long train journey in the fall with all its glorious foliage from Ayrshire to the exquisitely beautiful and historic village of Glenfinnan, we were warmly greeted and welcomed at this gem of a hotel. From inital contact at booking to reluctant departure we were treated as very valued guests. The rooms were well heated and... More

What a gem! as soon as you enter the hotel you are treated as royalty by Ina, Keiron and their staff. Stayed here for three nights and was not dissappointed. Room was superb with big comfy bed and huge bath. Bar was well stocked and breakfast was a feast! Ate in the bar each evening and the quality of food... More

I stayed one night here on my way back from Eigg. Right on the road, with car park opposite, (better approached from the Fort William side, as a steep ramp from the Mallaig direction. Care needed both in the corridors and bedrooms with heavily coombed ceilings.Friendly young manager. Only suppers in the bar, but good food---the mussels were the best... More
